A few months ago I had a great opportunity to take part in a styled shoot at the Fowler Mansion. When Felicia, the site coordinator, approached me to create florals, I was so excited and quickly jumped on the opportunity.

As many of you know, winter is not my favorite season of the year. Although my husband and I got into a discussion yesterday about how it isn’t technically winter yet because the winter solstice doesn’t begin until December 21. He finally gave in that it was meteorological winter. (He’s a major weather nerd, if you couldn’t tell, and I love him dearly for that.)

Anyways, today is another typical Indiana winter day: cold and grey with a mix of wet snow. I just want to see a peek of the sun!
